Just found out that Kyiv Gas will only look at our application after GASK has commissioned the building and that will only happen next week after the windows are fitted.
Kyiv Gas need 3 months to deal with the application.
So although all the house will have been built in 6 months .. The wonderful efficient state monopoly need half that time to shuffle paper.
And no.. Bribing them won’t help. They are bribed already just to do their job.
underfloor heating pipes all done… and screeding is finished now to both floors.
Later today – Windows.. Electrical work finishes Friday – Facade and roof starts Monday.
Anyone who says that life is difficult here in Ukraine is right – but it just means you need to apply some forethought – and pressure – to get things done on time.

.. has begun to the lower floor. We have large windows so we will have floor rads as well.
Top floor will have traditional radiators.
